Break Down Instructions

Total Time: About 6 minutes

1. Remove the Starball putting cup from the game and store it back in its original package. Take care to keep the Starball protected.

The flag pole does not fit in the package, and can lay flat in the carrying bag. It is an unbreakable plastic and can be easily straighten out if it gets bent in the bag.

2. Remove the turfs from the game.

3. Lay all of the sections of the turf together and roll them up into a tight roll with the putting surface facing out. Place them in the turf carrying bag with the putter inserted down the center of the roll.

4. It is recommended to wipe the airframe down with a clean moist towel to removed dirt and footprints.

5. Locate the fill valve on the game and remove the bottom valve. (Fig 1) This will open a direct hole into the airframe that allows the air to exhaust.

7. Locate the inflation pump and connect the hose to the Deflation port on the pump (Fig 2). Change the nozzle to the large nozzle (Fig 3) that fits in the hole. Turn on the pump and vacuum the air out until the airframe is completely flat (Fig 4). This will take about 20 seconds.

8. This next step is important, and should be performed very carefully. Have the valve ready in one hand, and remove the hose from the hole. Quickly put the valve back into the hole and screw it in so the airframe does not suck air back into itself. BE SURE NOT TO CROSS THREAD THE VALVE as it is not covered under warranty. Re-vacuum the airframe if it sucks in too much air. Practice a couple of times if needed. This will help in rolling up the game.

(Please Note: If you are using a hand pump, you will not be able to vacuum the airframe. Leave the valve hole open and try to roll the game to squeeze as much air out as possible. You should vacuum the airframe out later when you can get to a power source and use the electric pump.)

9. Once the airframe is flat and the valve is replaced, then fold the game in half (Fig 5). You need to get it into about a 9’ x 30” rectangle. Fold any protruding edges over themselves to make the shape. Then fold the game in thirds, long ways until you end up with a 10” x 9’ shape. Roll it tightly into a nice roll.

10. Place the airframe back into the carrying bag.

11. Gather the balls, Starball putter cup, stakes, and inflation pump and put these back into the carry bag and zip it up. (Fig 6 & Fig 7)

12. Repeat this process for each putting course.
