FAQ’s / Set Up
Q: How long does it take to Inflate or Deflate the Putts Perfect airframe?
A: By using the electric air pump that is included in your package, it will take about 45 seconds to inflate the airframe, and about 30 seconds to deflate and vacuum the airframe flat. There are instructions on doing this, as well as a video coming soon on the website to clarify even further. You may also download our Set Up Instructions and Breakdown Instructions here. Q: How much does each Putts Perfect course weigh?
A: The average complete course with airframe and carpet weighs about 30 pounds for everything. It comes in 2 bags that weight about 15 pounds each.
Q: What is the quality of the putting carpet?
A: We utilize a very good quality putting surface for the Putts Perfect airframe. This allows a good smooth putt, and some realistic conditions. The surface is 3/16″ thick and has a good, durable rubber backing that will not peel off.
Q: How many square feet are required for the play area?
A: Each Putts Perfect airframe has a footprint of about 50 square feet. Depending on the number of courses that you are setting up, and how you spread them out, or interlock these courses together, the size of the play areas can vary greatly.
Q: How many people does it take to set up a Putts perfect course?
A: Up until now, offering a portable putt putt course in a rental inventory was a significant commitment to time, resources, and manpower due to the size and inconvenience of transporting and setting up the heavy, wooden or fiberglass courses. It has always required 2 men and a truck. With the Putts Perfect game, there is none of that.
Any average size, able bodied male or female can easily load a 3 hole course into the trunk of a small car and quickly set it up at an event in about 10-15 minutes. A nine hole course could also be loaded into the trunk and backseat of a small car and set up by the same person in about 45 minutes. Striking the events may take a few extra minutes per hole.
Q: Can I undulate (make bumps in) the surface?
A: Yes. By purchasing our unique Inflatable Moguls (activate this link) and laying them on the ground under the black vinyl surface of the game, you can undulate the surface to get the desired effect. You may need to shift them around until they create a smooth lift on the course. You will need to experiment to get the proper undulations for your comfort level.
Q: How do the pieces of carpet line up in the airframes?
A: We utilize a loop connector system to attach the putting turfs to each other. The loop connectors float on the surface of the airframe, and the turfs are attached at each end of the airframe to allow the turf to pull taut. It is very quick and easy to install and remove the carpet from the airframe.
Q: Do I need a truck to transport the Putts Perfect game?
A: No. The game is easily transported in the trunk and/or back seat of a car. A truck is ok to use, but is certainly not necessary.
Q: What is included with the Putts Perfect game?
A: The Putts Perfect courses come complete with the airframe, carpet, putters, balls, stakes, electric pump(s), carrying bags, instructions, and repair kit. You may want to consider purchasing one of our hand pumps for times that a power source may not be nearby.
Q: How do I determine the right package for my needs?
A: Most companies only need to start with a 3 hole course. Once they are familiar with it, and have had it out in their system, then they can buy additional 3 hole courses, or get a 9 hole course as the demand grows. Other companies that already own the hard wooden course may want to start with the 9 hole course since they already have established customer bases using the product. Feel free to give us a call and we can help you decide which courses will best fit your application.
